What kind of game is it?

A very early FPS. It was considered "Doom for the Macintosh" (before Doom came out on the Mac of course).

It's pretty good, although I haven't played it since it came out.

It's better looking than Doom and has a HELLUVA better story. Plus, you can't beat a free DL game right?

Just installed it and played it for about 5 minutes. The music is really creepy and I have no idea what I'm doing (just ran around and shot a few aliens and hit some switches). I'll have to play it more tomorrow when I have more time.

Be sure to visit every terminal you find. The A.I.'s are the game's story centerpiece and feature some of the best writing in any game, much less an early 90s FPS.

Didn't work for me at first either - had to download the M1A1 music pack and throw them in the music file.
