This was one of three leaked endings I heard about a few months ago.

I thought they were all fake because they were so fucking dumb. I guess the studio sucked and keeping it a secret.

  2. People were definitely laughing at the theater I went to. When Noah's mom found out that Noah was dead and she started crying, the audience cracked up because it was so poorly staged it looked like a comedy.

The direction was fantastic, the visuals were amazing, and the actress who play Ivy stole the show, but the rest of it was just sad.

  3. The first time i saw it, yeasterday, no body laughed except at a few of these what would seem like witty lines. For the most part i did notice around me that the people did enjoy the film.

This second time that i just finished watching it, it was filled with nothing but horny teen boys trying to get to second base with that sluttly girlfriend that for some reason wont put out for them, and then went into the story very negatively. So in turn they would joke and poke fun at the film to seem like "a bigger man." Then again thats just me.

Both times mind you, at the theater i work, in one of the biggest theaters we have, and at the same time both nearly sold out.

  4. I thought it was an excellent, beautifully directed movie. I guessed what the twist was about halfway into the movie, but I was intrigued anyway. I just love how Night ties everything together at the end of his movies. My favorite scene was when Noah was killed in the monster suit, the way the camera panned up, how he had the claws out, it was just beautiful. The musical score and sound effects were top notch too. Yeah, sometimes the writing was a bit cheesy but the direction more than made up for it.

Talk about harsh generalizations well i saw it with my fellow employees who all take movies seriously and we all laughed our asses off especially since M. Night made Ivy look like a female version of dare devil she's blind BUT CAN SEE!
Also is it just me or did the face of the "monsters" remind you of either Bebop or Rocksteady from the orignal ninja turtles cartoon?

  6. I really enjoyed this movie.

It makes you think. Even after I figured out the general idea of the concept. I still was left thinking.

Awesome movie, but obviously if you didn't like M Night's other movies.. why would you like this one?

Ivy couldn't see, she said certain people had auras. I thought I was cool how we never found out what the main guys aura color was. I am betting it was yellow.

That may have just been the problem. I work at a movie theater myself, and sadly ive become just as everyone else an "overzealous" movie buff. Go with people your close and comfortable with, and 1 persons opinion in humor spreads to the others.
