As much as I want these games to come out its hard to imagine that they will. But you never know, plus maybe all the critical praise will make Ubisoft more willing to make a sequal. But thats hardly been the case in the past.

On topic, The game sold poorly at full price, but it was a big seller when it dropped. Ubi could bank on people now having played the first and recommended it, will be willing to buy a bigger, better sequel at full price.

Ubisoft should be loaded with the year(s) they had. They can afford to make a couple less than blockbuster games.

Well you have to remember that Prince of Persia sold like shit as well so anything is possible.

Well, at least they're rectifying that this year by only pitting it against Halo 2, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Metal Gear Solid 3, Resident Evil 4, and Metroid Prime 2. It's guaranteed to sell at least 20 copies now.
