I read the same thing. I really hope they do a sequel though, it was one of my favorite comic movies of all time.Originally Posted by Hot Like Wasabi

They said Hulk 2 would be an action movie and not have so much engrossing story.
I can't wait for that Namor movie! SWEET DEAL!

I second this. A Deadpool movie would just be the most awesome thing ever.Originally Posted by Bacon McShig

A deadpool movie > Blade movies (hopefully anyway). I like Blade, and it would probably be in the same darker vibe, but I think Deadpool is the cooler protagonist. Still, I can't wait for that Namor movie. Shit, maybe he'll talk to dolphins!

There's been a lot of talk at Superherohype about Punisher 2. It's coming. They keep saying Jigsaw is the villian.
When do you think the superhero film deluge backlash will occur? I mean, they're considering an Ant-Man movie. Ant-Man! I guess the only way all these franchises will survive is if they start diversifying the type of movies they make. I may be skeptical about Fantastic Four and Green Lantern being comedies (though they're gradually backing away from the comedy stance with FF), but these films might be indicating the sort of changes we'll see as more and more superhero films are made. You can only have so many fairly straight up stories about heroes fighting villians with one-liners thrown in, right? I mean, I liked the Hulk movie. I liked it because it took chances, it wasn't an hour of Hulk running around smashing things and being angry with some plot tacked on. And that was in a hugely hyped summer movie! Sure, nobody is looking forward to Ant-Man or Man-thing or any of the other C grade heroes, but someone with the right vision could make some really cool movies with them. Take Swamp Thing and Animal Man, for example. Both of them were lackluster characters and boring reads until Alan Moore and Grant Morrison took them on.
