I just hope they do Vandal Hearts similar to the first and not the second.

Finally, a new Goemon game....
I know, seriously.Yeah I didnt care for the second one either. It just wasnt as fun for some reason. And I dont think it was the "revolutionary" simultaneous movement of player and enemy.Well ,maybe it was ,seeing as you could avoid enemy attacks easier by baiting them with characters with unguarded backsides <shrugs>Originally Posted by Hot Like Wasabi
But yeah , If all ......screw that ....at least a couple of the games I want on that list are new non-remakes, than it looks like Ill be investing in yet another Nintendo handheld.

It's going to be interesting to see how PSP and DS play out against each other. Sony has brand name recognition in consoles, but judging from where the 3rd parties are throwing their hats, Nintendo will own in portables for another generation.
I'm completely under the belief that the quality of a console doesn't mean crap to consumers or 3rd parties - it's all about brand-name recognition. For consumers, it helps them make an uninformed decision they can feel 'safe' about, and for 3rd parties, they go where ever they think the most possible buyers will go. Which in fact, also helps push where consumers will go (no one wants to buy a system that only has 5 developers backing it).
So yeah...unless Sony is holding out on their PSP developers' list, the DS has this fight in the bag.
Sony announced a list of games a while back. At the very least, it was of the same size as this DS list.
I meant, they aren't newly announced.Originally Posted by Jetman

Sure, but Sony's list was worldwide (Japan, Europe, America & Korea) while Nintendo's almost matches it with JP support alone. Nintendo's been shy about confirming western support though, which I'd say is actually PSP's strongest area (they have tons of tiny PAL/American developers on board). In Japan however, DS really trumps PSP so far for announced games.Originally Posted by diffusionx
Wow these are some great games. I never expected so much support for the DS.
Another reason why I won't be buying the PSP is the fact that Sony has burned me before with their crappy hardware. I learn from my mistakes.
