I noticed when i went karaokeing with some friends the other night, that the girls who wear tank tops and stand on top of the tables and SHRIEK for absolutely no reason seem to get a lot of guy attention.

Another thing about guys is to have the short on the top and shorter on the sides haircut. I think they just ask the person who cuts their hair to make them look like a prick.

I don't think I could stomach a club and I never plan on going to one. A friend of mine's girlfriend drug him to one recently (BAR in Norfolk I think was the name) and he said it was one of the worst experiences of his life. Except when they played The Faint, that just made him happy for about two and a half minutes.

Women are completely different than men on what they find atractive. Men go for exotic and different, women seem to dig men who look like everyone else in the flock when it comes to looks. If everyone had your haircut they would want to bang you. Well unless you are a rockstar, then they will want to bang you anyway. Most women have uniform fetishes. Cop, biker, piolet, business man, Rock star, Soilder, ect. All women want to do those men.

It's just how it is. Men will bang any healthy woman from any time period with a matching look for that period. Women however can be totally put off.

EDIT: and before anyone post about how guys date generic girls to make some counter point, men just date them because they think generic = easy, wich is usally true.

I went to a mainstream club called Spy here in Houston with my brother and his friends - was a lousy fucking place. Have been to another called Hush as well... was bigger but still a mess of tacky women and meathead guys. Awful. Most clubs in Houston are.

I've been to some bars in areas where I live, and while I'd take a bar over a club anyday, I just don't find the bar experience to be comfortable. I've tried and continue to try, but most places around here just draw people I don't really want to hang around near, or they have environments that I can't be myself in - eh... I suppose thats how it is with some. I dont really care though, some people go for it and some people don't, at least I can say I'm true to myself.


Best bar in houston is the bar at the Engine Room, not because of the alcohol selection - but because of the fact that when I go there its for a metal show and I'm thrashing away and going nuts dehydrating myself - during those moments that bar is my closest ally.

I dunno, I was dressed like a complete dyke the other night, jeans, cut off beatup sweatshirt, sneakers, and messed up hair (well, my hair's always messed up) and they didn't even so much as card me, and I got a ton of free drinks. So maybe like, the dressing like a whore doesn't even matter, maybe you just have to be a girl in general.

I tend not to buy the whore looking girls drinks. They'll get them from someone else and I never end up with them. I buy 'em for the more interesting looking girls who'll give me more than the 30 seconds of their time it takes to down the shot.
