Thread: November release for DS?

  1. If you sell your GBA SP that pays for some of it.

    DS has a better prerelease lineup announced than GBA, PS2, GameCube or XBox did. Seriously.

  3. Castlevania on launch=instant buy.

    The price tag is still on mine.

  6. I'm sorry, but I'm too poor to put next to 200 bucks on a new portable, no matter its initial lineup. Especially when, in less than a year or so, it will be outdated by Nintendo's own GBA2. And of course, the DS isn't Nintendo's official-actual-full-fledged-out-to-kill-PSP-portable. According to Nintendo themselves.

    I'd prefer to keep my money, and see how this plays out. Don't get me wrong - after trying the demo units, the 'what the hell is this' idea turned into one full of potential and creativity. But if its not going to be supported right, or undercut by its own developer by yet another portable, I'm not eating 200 dollars for a good idea with poor execution.

  7. You're sure the GBA2 will be out next year?

  8. Isn't that what reports have been saying?

    And, given the benefit of the doubt, I still don't want to buy a portable made by Nintendo that Nintendo themselves are promoting as their next 'true' portable. I mean, why even bother?

    I'd wait, get it on a price drop, and reap whatever I can from its established library. You know, do what most people do with games and consoles...I can't afford to get everything on launch day anymore.

  9. I can't afford it either but somehow I don't think I'll be able to resist.
    PSN = knarlockk
    Steam= kevinb150

Not to mention the total abscence of marketing and preorder info this close to it's rumored launch. I could maybe see that 'surprise' approach for a game, but not for a system.
    EA has officially announced The URBZ DS for November.
