I have used it and it works perfectly. If you play for long sessions I can see it annoying the ear comfort wise. I believe Soundwave(Hiro Random on XBL) uses this exclusively. It works great.

Yeah, I use it--it works great. It's clear, no buzzing or anything. Remember that this doesn't come with the adapter only the head set. Some people don't like that it wraps around your ear (it comes with both left and right ear wraps) Considering I've broken 2 official headsets this was an inexpensive (5 bucks vs 25? yes, please) and excellent alternative. Most cell phone head sets work on the adapter, btw.
