The price on the originals should still drop down with a rerelease, GH or not. Most people aren't as touched in the head as most here, and buy games just to play them (sometimes without the box OR instructions).
I would die.
Thanks for that massive contribution to the thread, diff. Korly, Sly Cooper looks fantastic both with and without the GH stuff, although I wish they'd have released the GH art on non-GH packaging at some point. When they introduced the GH line, Sony did announce some guidelines, but as with PSX GH stuff, those guidelines evaporated quickly. While I don't feel that buying GH represents me supporting Satan, I will hold off on buying something if I know I can get the game through some other means without it.

I buy plenty of older games without boxes or instructions, but when the storage taken up with the boxes is rather minute, as is the case with DVD cases, I'd rather have them complete. I didn't pass up on Jak and Daxter or Headhunter earlier this year, despite them not having instructions, which no longer matter much to me anyway.

I don't know what's funnier: MarkRyan's bout of insanity or Diffx's response.Originally Posted by diffusionx
99% of the time the GH rerelease has the exact same UPC code as the original. As far as anyone's concerned it's the exact same game. If the store computer thinks it's the same thing then as far as anyone's concerned, it is.

Yes, but what's more hideous is buying a preowned copy that belonged to a retard who handled it after picking his nose, scratching his ass, and fingering his sister-bride.Originally Posted by Grave
