To bad it is the worst game ever. Now if companies would get on the ball and rerelease some other games that matter.
Today, Atari is officially re-releasing the 1997 Dragonball: Final Bout fighting game for the Playstation. The current re-release of this critically panned game features a new cover illustration, the new title "Dragonball GT: Final Bout," and a $14.99 retail price. The game was originally released in America in limited quantities by Bandai in July 1997.

I like the new cover. Not interested in the game, though. First Rez, now this? It's great seeing rare games getting re-released! They need to do this more often! The price Final Bout usually goes for is rediculous!

A local game store gave me a burn of this on a random whim. The burn locked up 10 minutes into me playing it. I then thanked the Playstation for locking up and I've never played the game again.
Blechness.
I have regrettably played this. It's an absolutely miserable game with no redeeming value. The biggest DB fans will of course play it, the same way I forced myself to play garbage like One Piece Going Baseball, but there's no enjoyment to be had. I've never played the Budokai games, but I doubt there's any reason for anyone to revisit Final Bout, as I've heard they were fairly decent. Hell, DBZ Legends for PS and Saturn was a decent game for replicating the feel of DBZ fights. Final Bout is not.
I do however think it's hilarious that this rerelease will completely kill eBay sales of the game. Happened to Final Fantasy Tactics, it'll be happening to Rez soon enough, too. I kinda wish Konami would reissue Suikoden II and SotN to ruin people's gigantic eBay profits, heheh.
You mean re-reissue SotN.

I hope reissues becomes a new trend. It makes sense with PSone titles, since they are still playable on the ps2 (for most people).
You can probably find the Neverhood for the PC (where it belongs) for like a buck, and it still works fine under XP.
