favorite teams/characters in the king of fighters series

that's one thing that i love about snk character designs and the KoF series, all of the characters are just so stylish and cool looin'.

well 99 I use dream team of K' Iori Kyo and Krazilid(thinks that how ya spell it) as for CVSNK2 its Iori and Kyo all the way with Yamazaki comin in once in awhile.

Ah, KOF... best 2-D fighter series ever...

Teams have been consistent through '99 for me:

Ralf Jones (my fave), Chin Gentsai, and Yuri or Ryo.

Alternate teams include: Takuma, Shingo, and Leona.

Vanessa, Joe Higashi and King make great Strikers.

Can't wait to get my hands on KOF2K (coming soon to DC, yay!) and KOF2K1 (coming to PS2, boo!)

Some of my personal fave "custom" teams:

K, Terry, Iori (or Heavy D depending on the game)
-Name: Team Doom
-When Used: When I want to crush my opponents.

Shingo, Yamazaki, Kensuo
-Name: Wacky Mix-up
-When Used: When I'm messing around or playing scrubs. More worried about playing around, than winning.

Blue Mary, Clark, Ralph
-Name: Grapplers a-Plenty
-When Used: Sometimes you just need to feel like a "rassiler", and this is the perfect team for it.


These are just some teams, and names that I could think of off the top of my head. I'm pretty well versed with all the characters, so depending on the situation I switch up my characters fairly often.

Kyokugenryu is the Extreme Style! I've always stuck with Team Mexico, however they end up in each game.

Back in '94, I sold 60 Genensis carts to buy a NeoGeo system for the SOLE purpose of playing KOF. After shelling out the bucks, I quickly settled in with what came to be my all-time favorite un-mixed team of:

1. Kyo
2. Benimaru
3. Goro Daimon

They were a great combination (although Heidern's teams was quite bad-ass as well.) The biggest surprise I found was that Daimon (with sufficient practice) could be downright DEADLY.

Terry-the man is a inhuman with all those special moves and is just an all around great character.
Kyo-Do I even need to explain why?
Eiji-Well, at least in KOF 95. Biggest mistake SNK made was taking him out of the game.
Kim Kaphwan-I like his moves. that is all.
I sometimes switch it up and replace Kim with Sie or Andy.
