I'm confident my current machine will run this as well as a 360. I'm anxiously waiting for something to make me go build a new computer, because I have an itch.

not officially, there was a "poll" by pete heinze(their pr guy) on the official forums where he asked what graphics cards we were using, medium range in the poll was a radeon 9800 or a nvidia 5900 and high was considered a radeon x800 or a nvidia 6800, take from that what you will. im looking at a x800 myself. that said, according to the devs, they are looking at having it run on a wider variety of machines than morrowind did, so again, take whatcha will.

Presentation from pre-order discs at gamestop, apparently the same stuff they showed at E3.

  5. my goodness... the game is looking fantastic! I can't wait!! Only two months away!!! The forest looks incredible and the caves and dungeons look great.

The combat seems fine from what is shown on the video. I dig the presentation on how the NPC's react to you and how you can joke with them or get them pissed..etc.. poor doggy.

The only 2 things I didn't care for and its really minor is that the faces for the humans are kinda ..well...fat.. they do look great however. Another thing is that fastrack warp to a destination. I know you could warp in Morrowind with those huge stilt striders, but in the presentation the character just warped there from a house just by clicking in the map. Whatever really...but I would prefer to see the striders return or maybe you could ride something to get there just for realisms sake. I know..stupid nitpicking already.

I'll be picking up the pc version for sure. I hope my current pc is up to task. Max details or bust!

The devs are actually pissed that it got out, they said its not as polished as they would want it to be for the people. now, it was pretty nieve to think that some eb manager is not going to post it, but hey, im just glad you put up the link. unfortunatly this lends credence to the whole no spears/polearms conspiracy theory that has been going around. i wish the devs would just fucking answer that one already.

  7. Gamestop is giving this disc out to preorders, so yeah it's going to get out. Big surprise there, chief. Just because spears aren't used doesn't mean they won't be there, but from the way combat works and everything I wouldn't be surprised if they were gone. If there were horseback fighting I could see them, but without that doesn't feel likely.

The fast-travel option has been in two of the three major Elder Scrolls games. Personally, I'm glad to see it return, even in its modified form where you're required to first visit the city/town before you can use it.

    This makes more sense anyway.
Well that's like, your opinion, man.
