I hated on the first one for the longest time until I actually played some of it. It's a slick game, but I just couldn't get into it. Maybe it's the style but that shit was way too hard for me, I couldn't beat the Cerberus.
For those looking to save a few bucks on buying the game:
1. Some locations of Fry's Electronics may have it for 29.99 USD this week, but perhaps you'd rather just print out a page of the ad, and try to price match at Best Buy or Circuit City.
2. CompUSA may have this for 39.99 USD this week, but that looks to be regional as well.
3. Circuit City will have the game for 39.99 USD from 4/2 to 4/8, so you can either wait a few days, or buy it now and then present your receipt and next week's ad to be refunded 110% of the difference thanks to their Price Guarantee policy (just be sure to do so next week, with the lower price in effect).
Cheers.

Time for a change
I gave IGN's mom a surprisingly negative review.Originally Posted by elfneedsfood

She has high production values, but she's a real button masher.
That IGN review has basically sold me on the game. Easier combat, better control? I'm there!

I like how the review pretends the first game was any different.
Maybe their copy was mislabeled God of War 2.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. OMG IT HAS STREAMLINED COMBAT AND A BETTER CAMERA?! FUCK YOU POINTS KNOCKED OFF!
I didn't play the first, but I'm playing KH2...and it's pretty blah. Production values are awesome. Some of the music is great. But when it comes to actually playing, it's suuuuuuuuuch a bore. The combat is retardedly easy and the game is almost as linear as a rail shooter (but a lot less exciting).
EDIT: Oh yes, I made a desktop for you guys.

Play it on Proud. It's not that easy.
Then again...I don't play games for a living.
