Ridge Racer V was indeed better than R4. R4 had more stuff, but it was also hella easy. Ridge Racer V was brutally hard, fast, and gorgeous, but with even better control than its predecessors. It was the RR with balls.
didn't lucas barton (or whatever he calls himself,) say the same thing? he always went a little nuts whenever namco was involved.Originally Posted by StriderKyo

Better control? No way. The more powerful drift cars were a beeyotch to control. Not to mention the soundtrack had two songs that weren't boring. And the announcer was always hitting on you and gurgling about rew-keys.
As far as the difficulty goes, try finishing R4 with the American team - that was far from a picnic, especially with their crappier cars. RV I finished in like 4 days.

Yeah, they aren't too hot today. They were never among my favourite Amiga games anyway. SotB is still impressive visually though.Originally Posted by StriderKyo
So are the artists formerly known as Sega Rosso doing this?
The world needs a Projectyle sequel. Maybe the best game EA ever published.Originally Posted by NeoZeedeater

I miss weird Euro sports-ish games like that.Originally Posted by StriderKyo
