If you play battle mode, and you win against the cpu, you get unlock points which you can use in the unlock section to get fighters.

Just beat story mode today, it's bounds better than the first story, which is good since I'm probably gonna create at least 2 more characters.

yeah, i gotta give it up. this is the absolute best multiplayer brawler type of game i've ever played. roufuss was right on the money with this shit, and i havent been able to stop for 3 days now(i finished everything, got all chars, etc).

the way your style splits is freakin awesome. i love being able to combo from the knee-strike clinch into submissions. that shit builds blazin meter like crazy.

After a few days I've found that it's limited grapples really hurt the game for me, and now that it's done, I am bored with it. My friends and I played a few rounds and then we're done. When playing Window, destruction, and inferno, we figured you couldn't get KOed, but you could, so it makes it pointless to have a separate "mode" for it. Am I just not realizing something, or does everyone only have four grapples (punch, kick, and then punch and kick from a strong grapple)? I was so in love with the game at first, but now it's just boring too fast.

Press any direction on the left thumbstick + punch or kick for different grapples.

Im officially trading this in the next time I actually have the time to go to a Gamestop and pick out a game.

The lack of a counter grapple button is such a massive over sight that it completely ruins what a great game this should be.

The counters are there just not as easy as they used to be with a single button. You've just got to hit a strike the second they're about to grab you.

Hit either punch or kick the moment your opponent puts his arms around you. As long as you're not dizzy or stunned, you'll kick 'em off of you.
