WHAT? Famitsu's 4-person review team gave it all 7s. The game looks like a System 12 title (juiced up PS1) with smoothed out graphics.

I'm eager to see what the BRAVE guinea pigs at neo-geo.com say, if there are any there. Gotta be at least one.

At NCSX, their synopsis of the game says the D-Pad can only be used to operate the camera. Camera control in Metal Slug, for fuck's sake. Come again? I'm not feeling so optimistic about this one (then again, did I ever?). They go on later to call the Metal Slug tank controls "unwieldy".

I really hate the damn designs. It's like they tried to acheive that same cartoon like look from the 2D games but just failed completely...it's awful.

Surprised? Nah. More like simply appalled. Metal Slug should just not be this type of 3D game. Something like Strider 2 with 2D gameplay and 3D graphics would've been better. This is almost looking like Metal Slug's answer to "C: A Contra Adventure".
