Thread: Four more NES Classic Series games...

  1. I played Kid Icarus NES a few years ago. It was total shit. Dont let nostalgia fool you people into buying Nintendo's fucking cash run ports. A single NES game on a GBA cartridge is insulting.

  2. Kid Icarus is good (and I didn't play it back in the day, so don't call nostalgia on me) but I could probably get the old gameboy one for like $4.

There are some old 8 bit games I'd pay $20 for. Very few, though. Metal Gear MSX or Metal Gear 2 would probably be worth it. Maybe Contra. Wonderboy 3. But really considering this shit is emulated it would cost them NOTHING to put a few more on there. That's what bothers me most.

A good game is aloud to always be good without nostalgia just as old movies are, I do agree that more games should be on a cart for that price.

  4. I'll stick with the Genesis/Nomad version of RC Pro Am, which kills the NES version. I'd love to see Icarus on the GBA, and I'm thinking about buying Vania and Metroid from this set.

RC Pro Am is fantastic. I wouldn't pay $20 for it.

Kid Icarus was always bad imo, and I did play it back then.

  7. http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/genesis/data/6679.html - There ya go. In shorts, it's the NES game, only with massively improved graphics, and the controls translate very well on the Nomad, 3-button, and 6-button pads.
