Thread: so enterprise season 4 starts tomorrow

  1. Opa Walking so enterprise season 4 starts tomorrow

    Time travel? check.
    Nazi aliens? check.
Bullshit fixed within the first 3 episodes? check.

Looks as if they're planning on cleaning this shitty mess brannon/braga made to start the season off. I think that's good. What we have to look forward to this season:

    • Dr. Tsung's great great grand-dad complete with eugenics war hijinks
    • green bitches from orion
    • insight as to why the vulcans of this timeframe apparently wear tinfoil hats
    • lots of awesome action I hope
    • probably a series finale, unless some people with neilson boxes buck down and watch

I guess this'll take the place of the old Enterprise discussion thread...

  2. I've cared less and less about Star Trek with each new series (ever since TNG).

    Star Trek- Great
    Star Trek:TNG- Great
    Star Trek: DS9- Eh
    Star Trek: Voyager- Sucked
    Enterprise- Couldn't care less

Personally, I think they've burnt the franchise out. They need to take break for a few years and then come out with something fresh, or interest is just going to totally drop off the map that'll be all she wrote for Star Trek.

Actually, there were rumors at one point of doing a "Captain Sulu" series, weren't there?

  3. Probably. George Takei is likely off doing those asian pornos though (think back to daily show.) The most recent one I heard of was starfleet 90210 where it follows the chronicles of zit-faced ensigns in training at starfleet academy.

  4. Eew.

Ever hear the soundbytes they do on Stern where they take Takei talking and twist it into really hilarious, sexually depraved stuff?

Or how about the Sulu Dance?

  5. I think this season is going to be great. I've enjoyed all of Enterprises seasons so far.

People that bash it have watched what? 3 episodes? Yeah whatever. Go watch Smallville and stop wasting your time then.

This season has Big Show as some guard.. haha, also Brent Spiner guest stars and possibly *** William Shatner.

Sounds like it's going to be great.

  7. Deep Space 9 was the best Star Trek series ever made. It had a story that wasn't scrubbed with everything back to normal in the next episode. I realize that this is part of the charm of something like The Next Generation and Star Trek (and their good characters, which DS9 has too), but it was the first to do so.

    The Dominion storyline was engrossing.

I like what I see of Enterprise so far, even if people don't seem to. The only thing I want in a Star Trek series is good gun fights. All they ever do in these things is hide behind a crate and eventually peak out and fire a lazer that looks like it wouldn't pentrate a fly with its impact. It's so unsatisfying. And who the hell told the people in Star Trek that double axe-handles could effectively knock somebody out. They always use both hands clasped together to attack someone and it's lame, give me PUNCHES! A Star Trek series involving those time soldiers would definitely be grand.

Voyager could be good when they actually focused on GETTING HOME, the doctor (few and far between) or Seven of Nine episodes. But their characters were so boring. Definitely not a good series.

A lot of people really seem to like DS9, but I dunno...it just didn't grab me. It had its moments, however.

I used to hate it. But I actually watched it and got into it after I saw how awesome the story was.
