I think you need to be fair and realize that the both of them post in like every single thread on TNL. Which is an amazing feet considering one can barely see and the other one doesn't even currently own his own computer.

And Diff does act like a douche. He shits all over B grade games like they were F and D grade games. He then proceeds to talk about how his opinion is the only right one because he thinks that is a cute and awesome thing to do.

Eventually someone is going to complain about that, because honestly, it is annoying.

Herzog Zwei did compare favorably to PC RTSes when the only ones out there were War2 and C&C, but last time I checked, there were newer ones on the market.

Strangely, I do agree with diffy on one point:

That Japanese games are getting suckier and Western games are getting better.

As much as I do love Japanese gaming, their recent efforts have been lacking. To the point where I have not even bought a single current generation console because no game or even library can justify it. Every developer I used to put all my hopes on has failed me this gen. From GameArts to SEGA (who has become the joke of all jokes) to yes, even Treasure. They're pale reflections of their former selves. I want to like their current games, but all the want in the world won't change anything. Japanese gaming is dying. And considering how much Japanese companies have "sold out", I can't say I'm shedding many tears.
