Every flip and jump, quick run, laser deflection, etc. was all done using the force while in the middle of combat.

He could've flicked them off. Shit, aren't Jedi Knights supposed to be able to fuck up people's minds while fighting in ships? And what happened to battle meditation to make the troops more effective?

the could have drafted an entirely cooler sequence where the use the force to fling them into missiles or bash them together or something. Instead they opt for the retarded "Ama try shootin' em off your ship."

Maybe Jedi are just naturally retarded. It certainly seems like a lot of them just aren't very perceptive, nor capable of putting 2 and 2 together.

Yeah but I dunno.

It seemed more like to guide the missles downward into the Death Star. Vader never used the force in the cock-pit as far as I can see.
