Yup. The trailers for episode 1 & 2 looked pretty cool too. Means nothing, nada. The movie will suck.

After watching the trailer I want to believe so bad too. We'll see in 6.5 months.

Saw it...looked pretty cool, but what trailer doesn't? Impressive, but nothing mind-blowing. Lucas has already numbed me to the effects of CG with his last 2 movies.

Nice to see Vader in the trailer, but the shot of him rising up was kinda weird...his arms looked all stubby for some reason. It would have looked 1000x cooler if he sat up on his own like Frankenstein as opposed to a table lifting him up. That just looked lame. I mean, why would the Emperor tell him to rise if a table had to to it for him? Whatever.

I'm reserving excitement until I'm walking out of the theater when the movie is over, and by some miracle it turned out to be good.


*EDIT* For those that are interested, I took a screenshot of Vader from the trailer...enjoy. See what I mean about the stubby arms (or are his hands missing?)? If anyone wants me to take more shots let me know.

Man, fuck this crap. I'm way too excited about this movie, and I want to get my expectations lower, but I can't help it. Everything points to it being awesome, but it could be another potentially huge disappointment. Still... I want it to be awesome.

After two movies of this and a third potential letdown, I feel like a battered wife who keeps crawling back to an abusive alcoholic husband.
