I can say fully 100% that that's not the way it happens Reading the official Revenge of the Sith book now makes me see the trailer differently. I said it before, and I'll say it again, thank God certain supposed plot elements turned out to be false

Hey, I'm reading it, too. In a mid-air jump, Obi-Wan chops off Anakin's 2 legs, then his remaining arm. While the body parts fall into the lava, Anakin's torso lands on the burning sand where he gets slowly toasted until Palpatine's ship arrives. Obi-Wan takes the time to say, "You were the Chosen One..." blah blah blah. Anakin replies, "I hate you" And according to the book, Luke is born first, and Padme is too out of it to notice, just absently saying, "I love you Anakin." There wasn't a mother-daughter bonding moment like the spoiler script said. But the novel isn't the real screenplay, either.

Yea, the more I think about it the more I consider Anakin a puss in some ways. The love scenes were terribly done in AoTC.

Way back when I went to E3 2002, me and a friend saw digital AoTC in the Chinese Theater. Best movie experience of my life, like seeing a DVD on a huge high res screen.

Anyways, the scene where Anakin is on the couch with Padme (coming off as more crazed stalker) and he's saying "I am haunted by the kiss. You're in my very soul tormenting me. Are you as tormented as I am?"

All of a sudden out of the dark of the theater out of a crowd of hundreds of people someone yells:

"YES WE ARE!!!!"



A lot of people in the theater laughed.

I love AoTC but man, why would a hot chick marry some crazy, wussy stalker who just rubbed out a whole village? I don't care if they were Sandpeople. I mean, Qui Gon came back from the flippin' dead to try and head him off from wasting those Tuskens.

Unfortunately Ep 3 isn't going to be seen at the Chinese theater. Bummer, but I can't go to E3 this year anyways (was originally going to ) Anyways, RoTS with it's kick butt fights and crazy nutzo Vader will make up for wimpy Ani.

Also, my SW fight fantasy involves 19 year old Anakin somehow transported to the Cantina on Tatooine bothering either Padme or some hot Tatooine chick. Han and Chewy get out of their booth, say 'Pardon us ma'am, one moment." Han shoots him in the leg, Chewy eats his lightsaber then they both proceed to beat the living crap outta Anakin. *Han throwing the barkeep a random coin.* "Sorry for the mess." YEAH!

That it'd be funny (in an alternate universe kinda way) to see Han and Chewy beat up Anakin after he made a dork of himself bothering some girl in the cantina? Guess I should have had that in a seaparate post.

it's true, qui-gon tries to stop anakin by being the goddamn insanity voice in his head but anakin ignores it...

by the way, the soundtrack for this movie is hot

71: Meeting with Organa, Mon Mothma and Padme

73: Anakin informs Palpatine that Obi-Wan soon will have Grievous' head

74: Jar Jar greets Anakin at Senate

75: Anakin confronts Padme

76-77: Republic cruiser arrives at Utapau

83: Obi-Wan chooses his lizard, Boga

86: Mace talks to Yoda on Kashyyyk, telling him of his plans to arrest Palpatine

121: "crazy" Yoda and Chewbacca ambush an AT-ST

176: Yoda lands on Dagobah.

Some of them may not be big losses, but any scene with a "crazy" Yoda and Chwebacca ambushing anything should not be cut. 'Me-Sa' glad that a stupid Jar-Jar scene got the axe.Shaak-Ti was proven to be a bad-ass after the last Clone Wars series so it also sucks that any fight scene with her got cut too.
