    I actually liked that part.

you know, i think i see the star wars universe differently than you. i saw that event and all the events of episode 1 of the force manipulating events to return itsself to balance. the force was not imbalanced because of the existance of the sith, but because of the domination of the jedi. light and dark are some times rashly confused with good and evil, they seem close to standard definitons of them, but it would be a closer analogy to order and chaos. jedi create stability with their ordered worldview and the chaotic sith bring about change and progression. ani didnt shoot the ractor core because of his skills, it was a pure accident from his perspective, but in reality i saw it as the force itsself moving him closer to the point that palpatine could corrupt him and diminish the light side, reset the playing field if you will, so that anikins son could build the balanced path that was a new jedi , a balanced one who uses both passion and discipline in somewhat equel measure.

I also find the fact that people were shushing us during the previews but didn't say a damn thing when we did the same thing during the movie very funny.
I also love how I got the audience to clap when Yoda climbed onto Chewbacca's shoulder.

Yoda tells Luke: Clouded is the future. I'm sure Palp sees the future in the same way. He knew that Luke somehow leads to his downfall, but he doesn't necessarily know how it comes about.

However, I agree that it's sort of out of place to see the Death Star being constructed in front of a young Tarkin and Vader. I mean, it takes 20 years to construct the first Death Star but the 2nd one just takes a couple?
Considering that they had to build the first Death Star during a time of war, the resources(Manpower) could have been more limited. Also, its more than just a couple of years between A New Hope and ROTJ. I'm guessing that the Emporer began construction of a new Death Star, shortly after the first one was destroyed. Also,Luke didn't become as powerful as he was in ROTJ, with just a couple of years in training between ESB and ROTJ. Wasn't he in his late 20's/early 30's by then?

Also, Beru and Owen sure age terribly in their 40s don't they?
I'd guess they were around 50 years old. When Anakin first met them in Ep.2, they were probably around the same age as him, or just a bit older. Wasn't Anakin around 24 in Ep.3? Luke was 18 in A New Hope , so if Beru and Owen were around 27 in Ep.3, that would peg them at an age of 45.

I'm sure the stress of having Darth Vader's child in your home, would age you another 10 years.

  8. I thought it was awesome when Yoda left Kashyyyk in the E.T. pod.

EXACT SAME THING I WAS THINKING. It's pretty bad when the best scenes in a movie are the worst.
...unless that movie is Wild Zero.

Well that's like, your opinion, man.
