I was gonna have my dad install it, 'cause he's pretty handy with a soldering iron. But after reading about what a pain it is, I may just end up getting it done for me professionally or ordering a new one with the Afterburner already installed from lik-sang.com, and using the GBA I have now for the TV adaptor.
its not that hard..the only part that is a pain is getting the reflective film on without dust or air bubbles under the sticker.

if you are trying to be all perfect, which it probably wont be, can take almost 4-5 hours if you are picky..if you are good it can be done within 1-2 hours

i'll try it out myself, but i dont want to spend $40+ on 1 tool [dremel] for a one time use
