Today was the first episode I saw. I dunno, I love reading the plot summaries on Wiki but, even with that info, this show is almost impenetrable. The flashbacks in this episode felt like a flimsy way to give characters some motivation. I'd rather they stick to the island and get some shit solved.

Agreed. But I feel that way for 75% of the flashbacks..

Outside of a few good scenes, this season is actually pretty dull. I suppose I'm tired of being kept completely in the dark after all this time.

This is the first time I've thought this, tonites episode was awful. Not only was it boring, but literally nothing was done in terms of story besides rescuing Eko.
