    I'm on Xfire every so often. I haven't played CS:S in a while since I'm getting things in life sqaured away - if only to make more room for CS:S in the future.

    Agreed, the game plays just like the POS that came out years ago but looks prettier.

  4. That's what most games are like with fps.
    The game play is pretty much constant, but it does looks A LOT better than the old version did. On full settings anyway.

    I tried playing half life 2 deathmatch for a while, but I never got into it, and most of all I missed all the tactics involved in Counterstrike; I think the teams and objectives is what makes it good. (in my opinion, if you don't like the game, well...)

    POS? Hardly. The reason why CS: Source plays just like CS is because there was nothing to fix. The gameplay is near perfect for a FPS/Simulation, and runs smoother than any other online FPS I've seen. Aside from some map imbalances, I see no problems whatsoever. The fact that 10's of thousands of people still play the original CS is testament to this.

    CS tends to run in cycles for me. I get bored of it every 3 months or so and take a month or two off. I'm back into it again, but I tend to only play fy maps, cause I get sick of hanging out in the chat room for dead people, which is only inhabited by racist, whiny, wannabe gangsta middle school wastes of flesh.

    CS is a cool enough game and yes it has been perfected over the years but that doesn't mean it's FUN. I found Source to be a dull, lifeless experience. BF2 and Halo 2 both run laps around it. I played the hell out of it in 2000-2001 but thats a long time ago.
