I think Code Veronica sold well on PS2. If that REmake came out for PS2 it wouldve been huge.Originally Posted by MVS

700K give or take.
Way down from the 2.5 for 2 and the 1 and change for 3.
It peaked at 2 and has been in steady decline.
Well, lets be real here, #3 was kinda crummy and then Capcom decided to put the games on different, shitty platforms and then slap the name on trash like Survivor. I guess we have to wait until RE4 comes out to really gauge how much interest remains but I believe, deep down, if Capcom would've kept the series on the Sony platforms that decline would have been more like a bump in the road.
I've known that for a long time, I'm just astonished by the near endless depth of their stupidity.Originally Posted by diffusionx
I'm all for getting a good game into as many hands as possible, but the PS2 version will look like crap next to the GC one. Why no Xbox love? It would do great, and would look just as good.
I could see Japanese companies ignoring Xbox like they do if Japan were still on top, but that's not the case. They know we're the dominant market now, they say they want to cater more to us because of that, they're even releasing things here first, but yet they're almost completely ignoring our #2 console? Seems quite contradictory.

Couldn't agree more, although I'm assuming seeing traditional Japanese games have lackluster sales on the Xbox might scare them away.Originally Posted by Bacon McShig
