Dozens if not hundreds or thousands.

The pressures of your constituency, that got you elected in the first place, serve to alter policy. It's a fact of politics and completely normal. Calling Bush out on that is useless - you might as well call out nearly every politician ever elected - including Clinton.

Wow. I never realized we had so many governors posting here.

You were so wrong and I was so right. Apparently at the time of me posting my last message Bush just needed to win Ohio or Florida to lock the race and he got both of them under his belt. Hats off to Bush, he kicked the shit out of Kerry.

What does "posting here" have to do with anything?

50 Governers elected every 4 years for the last 32 years = 400
50 Governers elected every 4 years for the past 100 years = 1250

Yeah, so dozens, if not hundreds or thousands might have had drugs at some point in their past and then tried to impose stiffer penalties for just such behavior. What was wrong with that, exactly? :P

Excuse me, only 52% of the voting populace is mad. The rest of us are suffering through their decision...

Right, and your point is? That those with authoritative power are less likely, having grown up in the 60's and 70's, to have experimented? Please.
