What's more amazing, is that we have a horrible Republican Governor, and he was able to overcome that liability also.

Please explain how that's hypocritical - he's calling out Bush on a practice that's been utilized by, probably, thousands of politicians over the years (and probably Kerry, too) as if he were the only Governer to ever do such a thing. That's hypocrisy.

It's a matter of definition, not explanation. To condemn behavior that one has partaken in himself is the essence of hypocrisy.

Well, the ODA is the aid provided by the goverment, so it doesn't count the private aid which is roughly $34 billion in the USA, with most of it being unilateral. So, even then if you surmised that other countries give no private foriegn aid (which is not the case), if your ODA per capita is 46 at $13 billion, your Total Foreign Aid per capita would be 166, which is still below some other countries.

There's no doubt America provides a lot of aid to other countries, but it still pales compared to the democratic socialist nordic states.
