    .

There is no hard evidence to back this claim. The only early polls show that blacks turned out with the same percentage (10%) of all voters as they did in 2000. Which would BE LESS than when Bubba was running.

The people who voted for Bush are the same people who, in eleven states, think that marriage is being "attacked" and needs "defending."

That, I'm sorry, does scare me a bit. As well, either way you vote, the more you meet the "common man," the more you realize that the common man is an idiot.

There are plenty of Republicans not thrilled with Bush. One's who would have voted for a very good Democrat candidate. Many of the Repubs on this board even went so far as to vote for Kerry anyway, regardless of being a walking peace of shit.

Why does it have to be one issue or another?

People don't care about the environment either way, and isn't Bush the one who claims that global warming is scientific myth, barely something worthy of a headline?

I swear we need to elect a scientist as president. Or at least someone with some common sense.

Hell, just gimme a man knows that you don't pluralize the word internet. (And no, I will never get over that.)
Well that's like, your opinion, man.

Your logic is just wrong. I don't think marriage is being attacked. However, if I lived in any of those 11 states, I would have voted for the amendment, because gays don't need special rights of any type, which is exactly what this would be. It has nothing to do with an attack on marriage.

    It's all relative.
Your life is such a raging success you're planning on getting a mail order bride?

It is being attacked. For most Americans, marriage is a religious thing. Gay people and others are pushing way to hard and way to fast. If they want equal rights as a married couple, fine, push for that but with a different name.

The second they call it marriage, is the second everyone gets all angry and stupid.

I'm not saying this is how I look at it, but just explaining to you how the people look at it. And like it or not in a democracy, things are not about right or wrong, it is about getting around the majority to do what you want.

Nationwide or just in Ohio? Because as I mentioned I was referring to only the latter. As for hard evidence backing what I claimed, I live here and that's what happened, all I can offer is a spectator's view. Next time I'll borrow a video camera.

If there was a smaller turnout then last time than why would they keep open the polls for longer then usual and give the reason of an extra-large turnout?

One more thing: How can the same percentage be less than itself?

  9. I'll tell you what's not wanted.

But I would agree he would make a good UN leader.
I think he would make a great UN leader, you know why? Because he hates the US and wants it to lose it's superpower status basically leaving the only remaining power in the world to be the UN and China, effectively bringing this world much closer to a totalitarian one-world government.

In response to IP about Stalin and Hillary, I'd say they have a lot of common, Hillary's political mentor was also a Stalinist.

In response to all Democrats saying our country is dumb, good, think what you want but I would motherfucking appreciate it if you left my motherfucking country, it is people like you that ruin this great nation so please, go ruin the rest of the world, fucking wannabe "intellect elite", you're not as smart as most of you fucking think, get off your goddamn high horse.

In response to Mike: The sun will still rise tommorow dude, life will go on, if you truly believe in your cause start fowarding it and helping to improve it. Despite our largely opposing views I respect you a lot and think you're a smart guy but you need to accept life as it is man, it will make you so much happier. I was fully prepared to accept a Kerry win, the one major thing I was worried about is firearms ownership, if he made significant changes to the second amendment then it was on, and I mean it, it would be all out war at that point and I would not hesitate for a moment to be apart of it, other then that I think he would've done a poor job but we would've made it through.

I voted partially on terrorism, partially on the war, partially on the economy but when it came down to it, it was the support of most of my Conservative values and the fact that on the surface I agree with Bush almost 100% but his application isn't great but believe it or not, no President will probably do everything they say to a perfect degree.

To all my [hard-line] Conservative brothers: We won, congradulations everyone.

Keep faith in your beliefs and never NEVER give up, despite how much I may hate your beliefs I do not hate you in anyway and I hope you keep pushing on.
