2D animators really helped this movie look good in 3D. i mean...you really have to understand the basics about animation in general to be able to make a movie and the characters look this good.
I kept thinking of the FF when I was watching this movie. You're right, they could learn a few things from The Incredibles.

Hello!
Quick zephyrs blow, vexing daft Jim.
I liked A Bug's Life too...
If you'll look closely at what I said you'll see that I wasn't slagging A Bug's Life. That's the point. Bug's Life is a very, very good movie and my point was that if such a great movie is the WORST Pixar has to offer then I'm skeptical of them being on space age drugs.

It was probably my favourite Pixar film and I can see them making a sequel. (If they can with them not being with Disney anymore.)
I said the exact same thing yesterday. With how amazing The Incredible's is, I wouldn't be surprized if Car's didn't live up to anyone's expectations.Originally Posted by Super-Eggroll
The Incredible's was amazing. One of Pixar's best, and one of the best movie's I've ever seen. They are master's of movie making, IMO. Like Andrew said, even if there worst movie is something like "A Bug's Life" then we are in for decades of good movies from Pixar.
And I didn't like A Bug's Life all that much, but everything else they've done has been A+ material. Edit: Actually, I lied. I would say "A Bug's Life" is A+ material, it just wasn't my bag.
Which do you guys like better? Incredibles or Nemo? Tough call for me, but I would have to say Incredibles, really.

I liked The Incredibles more because of the top notch action and atmosphere. Nemo had better visuals, though, but like I mentioned earlier: The atmosphere of the sea hands down makes the everyday seem less interesting. It wasn't the animation it was the necessity of the story and setting that made it less interesting. The thing that all Pixar movies embody is innovation and creativity. I think if it were just the typical norm done up in gorgeous 3D we'd all appreciate it, but at the same time the movies wouldn't resound and amaze us so much. But Pixar doesn't stop at good visuals, they add in creative means to use those visuals, too. The difference in material for Mr. Incredible's new suit when compared to his new one is a great example of Pixar creativity not ending with the graphics.
Pixar is easily my favorite company, and I know that despite me not thinking Cars will be that good because expectations are so high, I'm going to be there on opening weekend seeing if they can prove me wrong.
I loved Sindels toys because they were so unique. Those metallic balls trapping Mr. Incredible were easily the greatest weapons I've ever seen used in a movie to subdue an intruder.
