Thats quite a bit unnerving. I really want a good Wrestling game to come to the XBOX (I liked Raw2 quite a bit, but deep down, I know it's not..shall we say, the best wrestler around) so heres hoping.

well, maybe this is Stuido Gigante's calling? slower paced non frame specific required gameplay. Lord knows Tao Feng was just John Tobias's "LOOKITME! I CAN DO FIGHTERS STILL!" bullshit after he left midway.

Wow, they made a bad fighting game, that doesn't mean they can't make an awesome wrestling game. Hell, Yuke's pioneered 3D wrestling games while working on a platformer. I wouldn't be shocked if this turned out to be a solid game, likewise, I wouldn't be shocked if it turned out to be a bad game.

keep in mind that both Yukes and Polygon Magic worked on HORRIBLE fighters before finding their respective callings.

IGN released two Batista-HHH vids, showing off some nice, organic in-ring action. It looks more realistic than the SD games in that regard, and the transitions between the moves look nice.

Vs. was a 3D PSX fighting game with a purple-clad female fighter with underwear hanging out as its main character. If memory serves, the game didn't even have jumping, and struggled to reach mediocrity.
