Quality is a much better improvement of the GBA screen due to somewhat higher resolution; you don't have to worry about that washed out looked.Originally Posted by marwan

DS: 256 x 192 pixel resolution and .24 mm dot pitch
I tested it out with Tron 2.0: Killer App, which actually looks much darker when played on the GBA. Unfortunately, I was also able to pick up on how much more of it was graphically crappy game.
Also tried it out with Zelda, Sonic Advance 2 and Mario v. Donkey Kong. I can't go back to playing games on a GBA now.

Dot pitch is the distance between picture elements. The GBA games run at the same resolution on both systems but they look a lot better on the DS since the dot pitch is smaller and the screen is backlit. The image is so much sharper.
PSN = knarlockk
Steam= kevinb150
The lighting solution on the DS is MUCH brighter and doesn't saturate everything with a bluish hue.
HA! HA! I AM USING THE INTERNET!!1
My Backloggery
I'll still have to keep one of my two gba's for multiplayer when I get one. What suckage.
Picked one up for a friend today. The backlight is sweet. I'm sad about one thing in the metroid:hunters demo. You can do dual-analog like controls with the d-pad and buttons, but can't invert them, so upalways =up. I also realized you can hold the shoulder button to rapid-fire. Wow did that make me glad.

You don't mean that you're keeping one to play multiplayer with your DS, right? 'Cause that kinda doesn't work.Originally Posted by Cowutopia
I would think you meant "so I can use it to play multiplayer with my friends."
...and, no, bbobb, even Best Buy ran out of them.
