Question: GameCube packaging

If anyone knows this, it's you guys.

I'm doing a Visual Communications project where I get to take one company, and redesign three of its existing product packagings. Sounds soooo fun, right? Right. Anywho, I was planning on choosing Nintendo, designing with the GameCube in mind and re-tooling other products to fit the 'cube' theme. It'll be a GC console, controller, and game.

The problem I have right now is my GC box is gone (I don't know how - I never threw it out), so I don't know the dimensions to work my design to. I was gonna put this in Artist's Block, but it's more of a technical question; what are the dimensions of the GameCube box?

Oh, and if any of you are interested, I'll post what I come up with in class here.

The box? Isn't it closer to 10" square? I don't have mine on hand, but I don't remember it being so small.

EDIT: OK not square, but 10x10x5 or so.

It does sound a little smaller than is realistic, but I just put "gamecube dimensions into google and that's what came up.

You'd probably need the dye cut above the dimensions.

Nobody asked (or cared) but the dimensions of DiffX are Dickless x Troll. So long as we're measuring things in concepts unhelpful to the original request and all.

Anyway, very interested in seeing what you come up with. The Gamecube packaging, like most game console packaging now that I think on it, is pretty uninspiring.
