I try to snipe when I can.

Unfortunately, last night I had to use the frigging proxy since the item would have ended rather late in my time zone. Sometimes it sucks to live in the Eastern time zone- Californians have an unfair advantage in that regard.

Why do I snipe? Well, I lost a Gun Frontier (Saturn) to a sniper a few years ago. I took it up since then and it's been helpful- I won another GF auction, as well as quite a few others. There is also that advantage of not showing your hand until the end of the game.

Last night, I lost a Kingdom Grandprix to an 18-second snipe. Too bad the guy didn't have a thunderstorm or high wind knock his connection out.

I'm now considering using an alarm clock on eBay auctions. Sometimes, it's the only way to go.
