  2. I hope VF4 does come to Xbox. As much as I like the PS2 version, the image quality issues really ruin it for me. Some stages are fine but Aoi and Kage's are truly nasty. I don't let aliasing get to me but when I think about it and start noticing all the mini staircases it really pisses me off! Mind over matter I guess.

  3. I'd bet money we see a VF game on XB this year. Why would Suzuki have skirted the issue the way he has multiple times otherwise? I think they specified no VF4 for a reason. VF4 Evolution or whatever isn't technically VF4....

  4. You won't see VF4 on Xbox this year. It's been stated numerous times that Sony has a 1 year exclusive on VF4.
If my memory of her has an expiration date, let it be 10,000 years.

  5. I think Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution will be based on the Xbox arcade hardware followed by a quick and painless port to Xbox

That would be sweet. I just wish they would make an offical announcement so I can use my PS2 copy as trade bait for other games. I hate that they drag this on when my copy is dropping in trade-in value. Also, I want to know if there is going to be a superior version made or not...
    Finished Games of '09
    nothing at this time

  7. It all depends on whether the exclusive deal they signed is for only VF4. VF4 Evolution may be considered another title and could be ported to other platforms. The same thing happened with DOA2 on the ps2 which came out as DOA2 Hardcore in the US because sega had an exclusive licence on DOA2 in the US. The Arcade version isn't out until the August, so by the time it's released on home consoles Sony's 1 year exclusive on VF4 would of run out anyways.

Hey, guess what, I bet they aren't making Virtual Basket Weaving 2K3 either! Lets hold a press conference!
Damn! And I was so looking forward to 2K3!

Don't laugh, I'm sure basket weaving is harder than it looks.

He adresses this when he says they aren't making VF 4.1 for XB. You could argue that he didn't say they weren't making Evolution by name, but that's just semantics, and would be silly.

On the other hand, how are you supposed to take the announcement that "We're making Xbox-based arcade hardware...oh and by the way, we're also making VF4 Evo" at the same press conference? It may just come off like they're connected since those were the only things mentioned in the earlier Xen Gamers article, maybe they mentioned other stuff as well. I guess we'll all know by the end of this week.

any business man will tell you without hesitation, "silly" semantics when put down on paper is a contract, thus semantics arent so silly when business men use them to slither out of contracts...
