I always liked Lock Up. I thought it was a really good movie. I know people love to ridicule Stallone because he is easy to joke on. But, anyone who has seen Copland knows he is no way near as bad an actor as some try to portray him. He just got caught in the money movies of his era, which unfortunately were mostly mindless action flicks.

i always liked The Fortress, with Christopher Lambert. Haven't seen it in a very long time though, so i'm not sure if it holds up or i just liked it because i was young and stupid.

Lock Up, Papillion, Cool Hand Luke, The Rock (count as a Prison movie?), Escape from Alcatraz (Eastwood). The Fortress was okay.
