Name his Asian film?

I thought it might be a Young and Dangerous film but I'm not sure if it is. It's about a group of police trainees, male and female, who spend the film going up against a group of criminals. There's a lot of ribaldry and banter between the trainees and they are almost cartoonishly optimistic and lively(!). They spend some time travelling in their police van...eh...and I can't remember much more than that, except the film had shooting and action stuff but no ridiculous bullet-extravaganzas and in the end they all pat one another on the back, act all happy and walk down the street together. It's dumb enough to be endearing without being really bad and I recall enjoying it a lot.
