Well, upgrading will be a nessecity as some point, as JKII runs off the Q3 engine, so most recent action/FPS' (Alice, Q3, JKII, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, etc.) out there will be inaccessible. Blah, and let's forget requiring a GeForce 3 at least for id's upcoming Q4 and Doom III, and God only knows how many games afterwards that will be using that engine.
I have Unreal Tournament but I haven't been online in over a year because I usually play the vastly superior PC version when I want some UT action. I just recentlly got my free ISP up and working again so I might check it out when I get home from exams today.
