yeah, I loved sailing in WW.
I guess I'm the only one that thinks dungeon after dungeon is boring. I really liked sailing around in WW and exploring all the islands, but i never finished OOT.

i have to say im with stormy here, other than the not finishing oot thing, i finished it 3 times so far. If ww had played like oot, i would have enjoyed it far less than i did, not because of a fundamental flaw in oot, but because it would have felt like rehash of oot. as it stood it never felt like i was collecting 3 seals or 6 crests, it felt like i was moving with the story, and a lot of the story took place outside of dungeons, something i really enjoyed. So the lack of 6-8 Dungeons never really bothered me, it was a plus . i also never sailed for hours unless i was raiding those platforms, which i loved, or killing krakens, which i enjoyed as well, the song of typhoons usually got me where i needed to go pretty fast, and i got it fairly early in the game.Originally Posted by stormy

Well that's like, your opinion, man.
The sailing was a tad boring near the end but it nevr stopped me from playing the game. The last level was cool and even though the Gannon fight was easy is was very memorable. I also loved the graphic style. WW will ALWAYS look good too since it so unique looking. WW will always end up being the best looking Cube game years from now. Even over RE4 I might add just because of the style it had.

YEah, that fetching shit on the ocean was the epitome of bad game design. It's like Miyamoto decided to rip a chapter from Banjo Tooie's books and tape it in Zelda's, hoping nobody would notice

I just hope this game has fun characters, sound gameplay, an involving atmosphere, and I will be happy. I guess I am not looking for a zelda revolution like everyone else is, I don't want to be blown away, I just want a game I will simply enjoy playing. There are not enough of those anymore.
Note: It may have been that the music in WW was worse than that of OOT in my opinion. I find often the emotion carried by music has a large impact on atmospheric perspective.
