When I was playing OOT, I instantly knew the solutions to all the puzzles because they were all ripped off from A Link to the Past and Link's Awakening. Use your hookshot to get across a ledge, use the boomerang to hit some super obvious mark on the wall, etc. When I played Wind Waker, I instantly knew the solutions to all the puzzles because they were ripped off from OOT. And then you have the same fucking sound effects, the same fucking items, the same damn themed dungeons and world structure and mini-games and the same overall tone. It's hella lame.
Not to mention the fact that the whole canon is incredibly lame and stagnant, Nintendo has done less than nothing with an admittedly great universe and characters. I mean, yea, storytelling was never Nintendo's strong suit but come on.
There's seriously so much they can do and change and add to this franchise (I made a list of 10-15 things way back when someone called me out on it) but they don't do shit because idiotic fanboys will eat up whatever Nintendo poops in their general direction. Its fucking pitiful.

I like Ocarina of Time because its new control scheme made sense and the game design showed everyone how to do adventure games in 3D, just like Mario innovated how platform games should be done in 3D. It was really the peak of the whole series. With Majora's Mask, they finally changed things around, but the game was assy anyway.
With the Gamecube, Nintendo is now just like all of the copycat developers that stole their 3D control scheme and design ideas from the N64. They're just copying themselves instead of doing the awesome innovation and brilliant design they used to be known for.
I'm pretty sure this new Zelda is going to blow ass too. It really looks pretty average, anyway. If that wasn't Link in those pictures, this game would be just as irrelevant as any other generic adventure game.
