Did anyone get GoldenEye: Rogue Agent

People come into Best Buy asking about this all the time. I always make sure I tell them that it's NOT the sequal to Goldeneye, or is it anywhere near as good. They don't listen.

The best thing about Goldeneye 007 was the level design which was good for single AND multiplayer, and the way the enemies reacted to your bullets. And lets not forget the blood stains. Shooting someone in the croach and seeing a big red wetspot poor out was hilarious at the time.

Lets face it, Timesplitters is not the same.

Haha, I forgot about that. I used to do that to Natalya all the time after mission completions. And yeah, I agree that Timesplitters aint the same, even though it feels alot like Goldeneye, I dont know. I've played way more 007 multiplayer then TimeSplitters, heck,even more Perfect Dark. I wasn't surprised to see this game suck, especially when I heard about the dude you play having one eye, and the other being able to throw people and make a shield. Pass.

Yeah, the IGN reviews lambasted it pretty badly, not that I'm too broken up about it, I didn't think EA would be able to emulate the "everything falling right into place" feel the Rare original had.

That's fine, though, one less FPS to worry about. Besides, Doom 3, HL2, and Halo 2 are taking up plenty of my time and there's still the new Vampire: Bloodlines game to get, which is hybrid 3rd person and 1st person I believe.

From what i've played at my local EB store yesterday, its nothing special...I was kinda excited when I had seen the box for it (I have not seen anything but early vides of this game). And after a few staff workers and I played it, it left a bad taste in my mouth.

Soo many things could have been very well done, and end up being great, where half assed. Oh well...

Could have been LOTR Third Age... EA has so many mediocre games out about now it's hard to keep track of them all.
