What's the difference between invention and innovation?

  2. MVS, you should come up with an innovative hardware system since apparently everything Nintendo does is wrong.Losing millions on Xbox live is a good idea and making a 90 dollar HD for 2 games is a good idea ,but making a new handheld is a bad one.

  3. When you come up with a sane post, I'll take that suggestion under advisement.

It is a good idea if you plan accordingly and have more than enough money to afford the loss (and even so, I don't believe you know exactly how much money Xbox Live has lost -- or gained). The long-term implications of Xbox Live are having a viable and excellent selling point for the next Microsoft console and creating a future revenue stream.

I have no idea what exactly about the Xbox you're trying to criticize, but you failed horribly.

I think the HD remark was supposed to be a PS2 slam, actually.

You're absolutely right. I completely forgot that PS2 has a Hard Drive adapter.

  7. We're only a week or two away from the release date and the interest level for this title seems to be remarkably low. Gamespot has posted updated impressions that detail the pitcher/batter interface and most of the game's primary play modes.

A friend and I recently played through a week's worth of world series on Ken Griffey Jr. Presents MLB (SNES) and my fond recollections from that experience leave me somewhat excited as to the potential of Mario Superstar Baseball.

The arcade sports genre in general could use more creativity, and this title seems to inject the correct amount of craziness and simple pleasure into what’s become a typically plodding virtual pastime.

    Potential sales +1

Barring horrible reviews, I'll be hitting the diamond with this one as well.

  9. I have absolutely no need in my life for a Mario Baseball game so I really doubt I'll buy it, but I've honestly thought it looked like fun since I first saw it. I don't really care whether Mario's in a bunch of other games or not, since I don't feel compelled to buy most of those either.
