The old one was from when he started out in the 1970's in his own comic, and called himself Power Man.

He was a Hero for Hire, then he teamed up with Iron Fist.

I wasn't even aware they remade the character at all 0_o Is he still in the marvel universe?

Go into any comic shop, look through their bin of cheap comics, and you'll definately find some Luke Cage shit.

I mean, white people were "jive turkeys", he dated "hot mommas" and every third word he said was some kind of black slang from the 70's.

Plus the fact he lived over a theater in the ghetto, and fought some of the world's stupidest villains... but one time he did fight Dr Doom.

They did make a series in the marvel knights universe. He is always here and there. Just not making the headlines cause he lives in teh ghetto. I remember that he did Daredevil a favor one time recently. (to my knowledge)
