    In a word, yes.

I think Half Life 2 is monumentally better looking than any game on the Xbox right now.

  2. i guess we'll have to see how well the xbox port turns out.
MK2 on XBLA plz - let the unfolding of gameplay begin!!

Not at all, it'll be another generational leap, like PS1 to PS2, Saturn to Dreamcast, SNES+FX2 to N64 or N64 to Gamecube. DC and Xbox really aren't that far apart by comparison.

haven't played it in forever, and the PC graphics on my old Voodoo 2 were looking NICE.

Oh, another thing that pissed me off was how the TR1 controls were perfect with the number pad, but by TR3 they were screwed with. There was a patch to remap them, but STILL.
Well this is my problem right here. I played the fucking ps1 version. And Glass Joe, yeah, I'll buy that it was a good game, I just didn't like it. Though I bet I would have liked it more on a PC.

There are no rules, only consequences.

  6. Tomb Raider sucked. First of al, before it was 3D accelerated, it looked like a mess, and since everything had the same texture, outcroppings of new locations were sometimes hard to see. Secondly, half of the jumps in the game required you to jump on the last millimeter of surface in order for you to make it. And if you didn't save every jump, you probably got so mad because missing most of them resulted in your life bar going down the drain. And the combat was butt blow. Find an enemy, shoot and walk backwards until it died before it could reach you.

  7. Man, you guys love rocking the "my opinion is fact" argument.

People liked it. Your not liking it won't change that. Deal.

  8. I guess the 91 Tomb Raider has as a Metacritic score is horribly wrong also.

  9. Nothing wrong about it...it's all opinions.

My opinion is that it was highly rated because it was a great change from the PC games at that time. But that the change wasn't good.

    LOL at this.

Hold shift, walk to the end of the edge. Press back once to hop back. Hold forward then press and hold jump. It leads to you jumping at the last possible second every single time. It's in the instruction manual.

The layout and the jumps were all easy because it was done in such a blocky format. It's really insanely similar to the old Prince of Persia games, you know exactly how many tiles you can jump across.
