Some of the Goldeneye developers left Rare to form Free Radical. I agree with Cowutopia, Timesplitters 2 tries really hard to be Goldeneye, but doesn't quite achieve it. It's not bad, just not legendary.

Goldeneye isnt any good nowadays but people were still playing it a few years after it came out. Thats pretty special. People forgot about TimeSplitters 2 (and Perfect Dark too) about 2 months after it came out. The game is irrelevant and not worth talking about.

Of course Im waiting for SpoDaddy to come in and tell me how great a game it still is.

By now, everyone should know that the current-gen Goldeneye is Halo.

Believe me, I'm not saying GoldenEye was bad. I've probably played more GoldenEye than any other FPS - heck, I just played with some freinds last weekend. But, something about TimeSplitters 2 got me hooked. It may not be revolutionary, but it's a great game.

Have you tried playing Goldeneye 4 player lately? You can literally count the frames rendering...
