I think Justins being 'the Usher' was just that, his job was to usher Sofie to the world. At least that explains a man of god inexplicably raping someone.

Sofie, being the omega means that she's the last prophet from either house I think, no more beings of light or darkness. I'd assume Season 3 and 4 (if either are to happen) would deal with Sofie's involvement, either directly or indirectly to WW2, FDR, Manhattan Project, etc..

So, then what was that vision of Ben and Sophie kissing in the desert, wearing 40s (maybe even 50s) era clothing, with the bomb going off behind them?

I was also disappointed that Lodz didn't make his promised return before the end of the season. I'm really interested / worried what his coming back entails.

Also, what was that thing the Templar guy who was advising Justin wanted from Scudder? That thing he promised he'd kill Scudder if he told him where it was. Has it been mentioned before? If so, what's its significance?

Lodz'll be back in season 3, if there is one. I'm guessing he or Iris will have something to do with informing the Carnival of what Sophie is and that Justin is alive.

The scroll of something or other, is what Smith was saying to Scudder, no clue what it is or if we'll hear anything about it again. Probably, the writers tie up everything sooner or later.

Bought the Season 1 DVDs because we don't have HBO. Watched them all with my friends and we all fucking loved it.

Now i'm in the process of downloading season 2. Can't wait to see what unfolds.
