At first I was a little pissed there weren't any dog tags to collect, but with all the stuff I missed: frog statues, camos/paints, extra cutscene views, the nightmare mini-game, and boss camos, I'm going to get a shitload of a lot of replay value out of this. And I've barely touched Snake vs. Monkey...

When she is with you at the end, you can do fun stuff with her. Look at her in the X-ray part of the Cure menu. She will pose for you and you can also see her nips. She takes so long to walk around at the end of the game that I just tranqed her and dragged her around instead. Well, when she is asleep she has dreams about having sex with certain people and some of them are pretty funny. If you interrogate her she says some funny shit too.

This game is the best PS2 game I have played all year.

The part when you are riding around in the motorcycle in the side cars was fucking great. The way Snake yells when he fires that big machine gun is cool. The area you fight the Boss is one of the coolest places I have ever seen in a video game. She is still currently kicking my ass though.

Well, when you finish the game you will find out. The easy answer is that Snake would never finish his mission if not for her and would have failed early on.

The other answer is Big Boss would never have found out the truth about The Boss's sacrifice, which ultimately pushed him over the edge, leading to the Outer Heaven incident.

I finally beat the game. The ending was pretty cool:

I thought it was neat how the petals on the flowers turned from white to red when The Boss died. Everything was tied up very nicely.

Satsuki can have Itagaki, Kojima is my man now. This game was so awesome!

yep, tapping a trigger is the way to do it. check your settings in options too. there is a de-equip option and a revert to last equipped option. it works though. just like normal from what i remember. check your manual if you can figure it out (its all in there)

and is there any way to aim a gun and NOT fire? The only method I could find was releasing first person, then holding the trigger and equipping nothing. A bit slow..

hold down the Y button. i think that it. (again, check manual)

Have to play this a bit more. Am I losing my mind, or did they play with the music and voices?

yep. they changed some music and voices slightly. not sure which ones though. havent played the original in a long time.

Meh. The original was way better in my opinion. Not that Twin Snakes was a bad game mind you, but Silicon Knights did a poor job in implementing gameplay features from MGS2 into the level designs and boss battles of the original game. Not to mention the game is horribly unbalanced (why is the M9 much easier to find in Extreme than Hard). The redone voiceovers also left much to be desired, despite the higher paychecks the actors were given.

Going back to the original subject, I'm in my fouth playthrough (in MGS3). This time I'm trying to collect all the Kerotans (I only missed a couple during the Bike scenes). Just curious, do the locations of the Kerotan dolls changes with each difficulty setting or do they remained unchanged?

Holy shit, those frogs whizzed by in the bike part. I don't think I would ever be able to hit those. What do you get if you find all the frogs?
