MGS and MGS3 are the only great games on that list. You're too easily pleased. If you want to build up credit for Kojima, go farther back and include Snatcher. It beats the piss out of everything else you listed.

LOL. I cant believe people actually think Snatcher is a good game. The game has shitty art and a complete lack of interactivity. Its a total joke, a non-game, a Choose Your Own Adventure for 13 year olds who want to think theyre playing something mature. Its fucking terrible. 0/10. Next!

Leo dosen't factor enough into ZoE 2 to make it important you know his entire backstory, and you could spend those 4 hours playing the far greater ZoE 2.

Leo's back story isn't what's important in ZoE, it's Jehuty's. ZoE chronicles ADA and Jehuty on their journey to Mars where Dingo eventually finds them. By that time, ADA is less machine and more human, and Jehuty actually being on Mars makes much more sence, because you saw how it got there.

I agree that it's a throw-away game, though. "Jehuty was hidden here to fool Bahram and Nohman," would have done just fine.

Unfortunately, I am one of those people who hasn't been able to enjoy Policenauts due to the language barrier.

I think the touchscreen would make the DS an ideal candidate for a remake of Snatcher and Policenauts. Here's hoping.

Man, I just finished my second run recently. I was on vacation so I couldn't play it much until I got home. I went through it for all of the boss camos. Wow, doing it that way further unlocked the magic of this game for me. I really had to learn how to play better to get the camos.

My favorite moment would have to be defeating the Fear with tranqs. I was able to time my shots inbetween every one of his jumps and hit him solidly every time, he didn't even get a chance to get a shot off and he got defeated in under a minute. It was a thing of beauty.

I know I'm extremely late to the party but I bought the game pretty recently and I just beat this game today (man it never fucking ended sometimes) and it's definitely THE game of 2004 alongside Halo 2 for me. What a great satisfying ending, you really feel for Snake for the US playing him like that and I want to see some type of remake of the Metal Gear games with him following MGS3.

The game makes me want to play the other games because of how well the setup is done in this game to make all the other games make alot of sense(well...some sense with MGS2). I kept wanting Snake to finally usurp The Boss's hand to hand skillz in the cut scenes but you pretty much have to lay the smackdown yourself.

Snake is definitely more human in this game, moreso than any of the other protagonists. He follows the whole 'manupilated by outside forces routine' but it's exciting to see what he becomes (unfortunately I haven't played the Metal Gear games). At first I wasn't really that excited to play as Big Boss and maybe even hated the idea at some point but this game proved how awesome he was and how to be a "not gay" version of Solid Snake by scoring with a hot chick. No lame Otacon here either.

The Raiden/Raikov shots were hilarious, they went to not expense to humiliate the characters. I loved when Snake finally lost his right eye, that was awesome. All the boss fights were pretty memorable even if the characters themselves weren't as cool looking or as interesting as the MGS villain crew. The Volgin/Shagohod/Boss fights were great highlight fights although Volgin and Boss fights were a piece of cake after learning a specific strategy.

MGS3's graphics are outstanding for a PS2 game, I was astonished to see so much cool effects and great looking models on the system. I wish more developers pushed it's limits that far.

I definitely feel that Hideo Kojima has made his best MGS game yet with MGS close behind and MGS2 dead last in the 'Solid' installments. Nicely done story without going stupid or crazy like MGS2....just what everyone wanted.
