It just seems that after the series went 3D, the maverick designs just lost their touch. Even the bosses in X5 and X6 were pretty interesting because they had some style in the way they were drawn. Now we get generic 3D colorful R2D2's like the Yeti boss...Originally Posted by rama

I find myself wishing that X9 will come out like a couple of months (if not sooner) after X8 if only to finally end this series that Capcom fucked over.
All I want at this point is explanation.Originally Posted by Jetman
How did Megaman go to Megaman X, what happened to all the characters, just defintive answers and then they can do whatever with the series.
It's almost like they dragging the plotline along only because people will check out the newest game for answers. I've waited for so long though I'm starting to not even care anymore.

Agree, but, how/what is command mission?Originally Posted by Roufuss
Mega Man Zero games = teh awesomeness.
I'm so burned out on the MMX world and it's lame characters you'd be better off asking someone like Rama who really enjoyed the game.Originally Posted by Cowutopia

Roufuss I haven't gone past X4 HA HAA! So I'm still alright with it. I always just go back and play mega man X though. For some reason it's my favourite, and I get to play with my favourite controller of all time, the snes controller.
I own some of those bad exes though. Just haven't opened them. Probably will not.
Well, I don't know if there is a *bad* Battle Network game, it just got stale to me by part 4, and the Gamecube one was only mediocre.Originally Posted by Cowutopia

command mission is just a megamanX rpg. no chip collecting or any of that stuff. it's very solid. the fighting system is fun and there's a good deal of strategy in what characters you have to use in different situations. the story does not tie into the regular x series at all, so it's like a fresh game.....kinda. it's a lot more "in depth" than you might think it is when you first start playing. i love it.
almost every megaman boss character after the first 2/3 games is a "rip-off" of another one.Originally Posted by TrialSword
